    MCDA(MOS 控制雪崩二極管),一種新型的整流二極管器件。MCDA是一個基于超勢壘概念的埋層整流器件。MCDA的多子勢壘由P埋層形成, 與正極之間的連接并沒有采用不可靠的肖特基接觸，而是采用了trench-type（溝道式）金屬。這就使得MCDA能夠有超低的VF。此外，MCDA不僅具有PN結二極管的反向阻斷特性，同時擁有肖特基二極管的反向恢復特性。低正向電壓，就意味著更高效。

   MCDA (MOS Control Diode-Avalanche), a new device of rectifier diodes. MCDA is a buried layer rectifier based on the super barrier concept. A barrier for majority carriers is created by the buried P-layers connected with the anode by a trench-type metal contact without using unreliable Schottky contact. It is demonstrated that the MCDA has an ultra-low VF. Besides, the MCDA has a reverse blocking characteristic similar to PN junction diode and a reverse recovery characteristic analogous to Schottky Diode.The low VF means more efficiency.
